羅馬書 Romans 12 : 6 - 8
12:6 按我們所得的恩賜，各有不同。或說預言，就當照著信心的程度說預言，
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
12:7 或作執事，就當專一執事；或作教導的，就當專一教導；
Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
12:8 或作勸化的，就當專一勸化；施捨的，就當誠實；治理的，就當殷勤；憐憫人的，就當甘心。

現在美國的學校只有智育，沒有德育。教育局諸君相信是非善惡是相對的，甚至是人為枷鎖。
神與世人的看法天壤之別。神最看重品德。祂要我們「行公義，好憐憫，存謙卑的心與你的神同行」——不是隨便我們挑一樣。換句話說，神要我們有多方面的美德。再看

神也沒叫我們隨意挑一種。可見在品德上，神對我們的要求多而且高。但是，談到恩賜，聖經上卻說「各有不同」、「就當專一」。也就是說，可能神只給我們一種恩賜。神沒要求我們有百般武藝，樣樣皆能。神若只給我們一種恩賜，我們大可在那方面專心服事，不必十項全能。神沒要我們做萬能博士。畢竟

8:1 論到祭偶像之物，我們曉得我們都有知識。但知識是叫人自高自大，惟有愛心能造就人。
