(六)  教會  75  對信仰和禮儀上的不同傳統 

應該如何對待

答 : 在一主 , 一信 , 一洗 , 一神的前提下 , 對某些不同傳統 , 應當互相尊重 , 不必強求一律 , 也不要強加與人 , 聖經的教導是 :

1 . 不要辯論所疑惑的事 .

2 . 彼此之間不可輕看  不可彼此論斷 .

3 . 彼此接納 , 如同基督接納我們一樣 , 務要追求

和睦的事 , 和建立德行的事 , 誰也不給弟兄放下

絆腳跌人之物 .

羅馬書  Romans  14 : 1 – 19  15 : 7

14:1 信心軟弱的，你們要接納，但不要辯論所疑惑的事。
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. not...: or, not to judge his doubtful thoughts

14:2 有人信百物都可吃；但那軟弱的，只吃蔬菜。
For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

14:3 吃的人不可輕看不吃的人；不吃的人不可論斷吃的人；因為　神已經收納他了。
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

14:4 你是誰，竟論斷別人的僕人呢？他或站住或跌倒，自有他的主人在；而且他也必要站住，因為主能使他站住。
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
 

14:5 有人看這日比那日強；有人看日日都是一樣。只是各人心裡要意見堅定。
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike . Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. fully persuaded: or, fully assured

14:6 守日的人是為主守的。吃的人是為主吃的，因他感謝　神；不吃的人是為主不吃的，也感謝　神。
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it . He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. regardeth: or, observeth

14:7 我們沒有一個人為自己活，也沒有一個人為自己死。
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

14:8 我們若活著，是為主而活；若死了，是為主而死。所以，我們或活或死總是主的人。
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

14:9 因此，基督死了，又活了，為要作死人並活人的主。
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

14:10 你這個人，為甚麼論斷弟兄呢？又為甚麼輕看弟兄呢？因我們都要站在　神的臺前。
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

14:11 經上寫著：主說：我憑著我的永生起誓：萬膝必向我跪拜；萬口必向我承認。
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

14:12 這樣看來，我們各人必要將自己的事在　神面前說明。
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

14:13 所以，我們不可再彼此論斷，寧可定意誰也不給弟兄放下絆腳跌人之物。
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

14:14 我憑著主耶穌確知深信，凡物本來沒有不潔淨的；惟獨人以為不潔淨的，在他就不潔淨了。
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. unclean: Gr. common

14:15 你若因食物叫弟兄憂愁，就不是按著愛人的道理行。基督已經替他死，你不可因你的食物叫他敗壞。
But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. charitably: Gr. according to charity

14:16 不可叫你的善被人毀謗；
Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

14:17 因為　神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、和平，並聖靈中的喜樂。
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
 

14:18 在這幾樣上服事基督的，就為　神所喜悅，又為人所稱許。
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

14:19 所以，我們務要追求和睦的事與彼此建立德行的事。
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

15:7 所以，你們要彼此接納，如同基督接納你們一樣，使榮耀歸與　神。
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

以弗所書  Ephesians  4 : 1 -6

4:1 我為主被囚的勸你們：既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱。
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, of the Lord: or, in the Lord

4:2 凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐，用愛心互相寬容，
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

4:3 用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4:4 身體只有一個，聖靈只有一個，正如你們蒙召同有一個指望。
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

4:5 一主，一信，一洗，
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

4:6 一　神，就是眾人的父，超乎眾人之上，貫乎眾人之中，也住在眾人之內。
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
