20:21 約沙法既與民商議了，就設立歌唱的人，頌讚耶和華，使他們穿上聖潔的禮服，走在軍前讚美耶和華說：「當稱謝耶和華，因他的慈愛永遠長存！」
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the
LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before
the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

20:22 眾人方唱歌讚美的時候，耶和華就派伏兵擊殺那來攻擊猶大 人的亞捫人、摩押人，和西珥 山人，他們就被打敗了。
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against
the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah;
and they were smitten. And when...: Heb. And in the time that they, etc to
sing...: Heb. in singing and praise they were...: or, they smote one another
哦，巴不得我們能少憂慮，多讚美！
一切的憂慮都可以當做樂器奏出音樂來的。
用讚美唱掉憂慮易，用理由辯去憂慮難。
所以應當清晨歌唱，麻雀歌唱的時間最早，
所以麻雀從來不知道什麼叫做憂慮。
也應當在晚間歌唱，知更雀每晚最後一件工作就是歌唱。
當牠們一天的工作做完了，便躲在一枝最高的樹枝上，
唱一首悅耳的讚美。
哦，巴不得我們早晨也唱，晚間也唱，每天的生活中充滿了歌唱讚美！── 選
