約伯記 12 : 7~13 Job 12 : 7~13
12:7 你且問走獸，走獸必指教你；又問空中的飛鳥，飛鳥必告訴你；
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
12:8 或與地說話，地必指教你；海中的魚也必向你說明。
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
12:9 看這一切，誰不知道是耶和華的手做成的呢？
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
12:10 凡活物的生命和人類的氣息都在他手中。
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. soul: or, life all...: Heb. all flesh of man
12:11 耳朵豈不試驗言語，正如上膛嘗食物嗎？
Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat? mouth: Heb. palate
12:12 年老的有智慧；壽高的有知識。
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
12:13 在神有智慧和能力；他有謀略和知識。
With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. With...: that is, With God

7:1 摩西立完了帳幕，就把帳幕用膏抹了，使它成聖，又把其中的器具和壇，並壇上的器具，都抹了，使它成聖。
And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
7:2 當天，以色列的眾首領，就是各族的族長，都來奉獻。他們是各支派的首領，管理那些被數的人。
That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered: and were: Heb. who stood
7:3 他們把自己的供物送到耶和華面前，就是六輛篷子車和十二隻公牛。每兩個首領奉獻一輛車，每首領奉獻一隻牛。他們把這些都奉到帳幕前。
And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.
7:4 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
7:5 「你要收下這些，好作會幕的使用，都要照利未人所辦的事交給他們。」
Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
7:6 於是摩西收了車和牛，交給利未人，
And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.
7:7 把兩輛車，四隻牛，照革順子孫所辦的事交給他們，
Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:
7:8 又把四輛車，八隻牛，照米拉利子孫所辦的事交給他們；他們都在祭司亞倫的兒子以他瑪手下。
And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
7:9 但車與牛都沒有交給哥轄子孫；因為他們辦的是聖所的事，在肩頭上抬聖物。
But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
7:10 用膏抹壇的日子，首領都來行奉獻壇的禮，眾首領就在壇前獻供物。
And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
7:11 耶和華對摩西說：「眾首領為行奉獻壇的禮，要每天一個首領來獻供物。」
And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
7:12 頭一日獻供物的是猶大支派的亞米拿達的兒子拿順。
And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:7:13 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
And his offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:14 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:
7:15 一隻公牛犢，一隻公綿羊，一隻一歲的公羊羔作燔祭；
One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
7:16 一隻公山羊作贖罪祭；
One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
7:17 兩隻公牛，五隻公綿羊，五隻公山羊，五隻一歲的公羊羔作平安祭。這是亞米拿達兒子拿順的供物。
And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
7:18 第二日來獻的是以薩迦子孫的首領、蘇押的兒子拿坦業。
On the second day Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:
7:19 他獻為供物的是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
He offered for his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:20 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One spoon of gold of ten shekels , full of incense:
7:21 一隻公牛犢，一隻公綿羊，一隻一歲的公羊羔作燔祭；
One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
7:22 一隻公山羊作贖罪祭；
One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
7:23 兩隻公牛，五隻公綿羊，五隻公山羊，五隻一歲的公羊羔作平安祭。這是蘇押兒子拿坦業的供物。
And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.7:24 第三日來獻的是西布倫子孫的首領、希倫的兒子以利押。
On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun, did offer :
7:25 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:26 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One golden spoon of ten shekels , full of incense:
7:27 一隻公牛犢，一隻公綿羊，一隻一歲的公羊羔作燔祭；
One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
7:28 一隻公山羊作贖罪祭；
One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
7:29 兩隻公牛，五隻公綿羊，五隻公山羊，五隻一歲的公羊羔作平安祭。這是希倫兒子以利押的供物。
And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.
7:30 第四日來獻的是流便子孫的首領、示丟珥的兒子以利蓿。
On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben, did offer :
7:31 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:32 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One golden spoon of ten shekels , full of incense:

7:36 第五日來獻的是西緬子孫的首領、蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑。
On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon, did offer :
7:37 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

On the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad, offered :
7:43 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels , a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

One golden spoon of ten shekels , full of incense:

7:48 第七日來獻的是以法蓮子孫的首領、亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪。
On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim, offered :
7:49 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:50 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One golden spoon of ten shekels , full of incense:

7:54 第八日來獻的是瑪拿西子孫的首領、比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列。
On the eighth day offered Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:
7:55 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:56 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；

7:60 第九日來獻的是便雅憫子孫的首領、基多尼的兒子亞比但。
On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin, offered :
7:61 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

7:78 第十二日來獻的是拿弗他利子孫的首領、以南兒子亞希拉。
On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali, offered :7:79 他的供物是：一個銀盤子，重一百三十舍客勒，一個銀碗，重七十舍客勒，都是按聖所的平，也都盛滿了調油的細麵作素祭；
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels , one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
7:80 一個金盂，重十舍客勒，盛滿了香；
One golden spoon of ten shekels , full of incense:
7:81 一隻公牛犢，一隻公綿羊，一隻一歲的公羊羔作燔祭；

And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.
7:84 用膏抹壇的日子，以色列的眾首領為行獻壇之禮所獻的是：銀盤子十二個，銀碗十二個，金盂十二個；
This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:
7:85 每盤子重一百三十舍客勒，每碗重七十舍客勒。一切器皿的銀子，按聖所的平，共有二千四百舍客勒。
Each charger of silver weighing an hundred and thirty shekels , each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels , after the shekel of the sanctuary:
7:86 十二個金盂盛滿了香，按聖所的平，每盂重十舍客勒，所有的金子共一百二十舍客勒。
The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels .
7:87 作燔祭的，共有公牛十二隻，公羊十二隻，一歲的公羊羔十二隻，並同獻的素祭作贖罪祭的公山羊十二隻；
All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.
7:88 作平安祭的，共有公牛二十四隻，公綿羊六十隻，公山羊六十隻，一歲的公羊羔六十隻。這就是用膏抹壇之後，為行奉獻壇之禮所獻的。
And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.
7:89 摩西進會幕要與耶和華說話的時候，聽見法櫃的施恩座以上、二基路伯中間有與他說話的聲音，就是耶和華與他說話。
And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him. with him: that is, with God
And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;

All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.
7:88 作平安祭的，共有公牛二十四隻，公綿羊六十隻，公山羊六十隻，一歲的公羊羔六十隻。這就是用膏抹壇之後，為行奉獻壇之禮所獻的。
And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.

And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
8:4 這燈臺的作法是用金子錘出來的，連座帶花都是錘出來的。摩西製造燈臺，是照耶和華所指示的樣式。
And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
8:5 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
8:6 「你從以色列人中選出利未人來，潔淨他們。
Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
8:7 潔淨他們當這樣行：用除罪水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃頭刀刮全身，洗衣服，潔淨自己。
And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. let them shave...: Heb. let them cause a razor to pass over, etc

8:16 因為他們是從以色列人中全然給我的，我揀選他們歸我，是代替以色列人中一切頭生的。
For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
8:17 以色列人中一切頭生的，連人帶牲畜，都是我的。我在埃及地擊殺一切頭生的那天，將他們分別為聖歸我。
For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
8:18 我揀選利未人代替以色列人中一切頭生的。
And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
8:21 於是利未人潔淨自己，除了罪，洗了衣服；亞倫將他們當作搖祭奉到耶和華面前，又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。
And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
8:22 然後利未人進去，在亞倫和他兒子面前，在會幕中辦事。耶和華指著利未人怎樣吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎樣向他們行了。
And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
8:23 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
8:24 「利未人是這樣：從二十五歲以外，他們要前來任職，辦會幕的事。
This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: to...: Heb. to war the warfare of, etc
8:25 到了五十歲要停工退任，不再辦事，
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof , and shall serve no more: cease...: Heb. return from the warfare of the service
8:26 只要在會幕裡，和他們的弟兄一同伺候，謹守所吩咐的，不再辦事了。至於所吩咐利未人的，你要這樣向他們行。」
But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.

And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
8:16 因為他們是從以色列人中全然給我的，我揀選他們歸我，是代替以色列人中一切頭生的。
For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
8:17 以色列人中一切頭生的，連人帶牲畜，都是我的。我在埃及地擊殺一切頭生的那天，將他們分別為聖歸我。
For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
8:18 我揀選利未人代替以色列人中一切頭生的。
And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
8:19 我從以色列人中將利未人當作賞賜給亞倫和他的兒子，在會幕中辦以色列人的事，又為以色列人贖罪，免得他們挨近聖所，有災殃臨到他們中間。」
And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. a gift: Heb. given
8:20 摩西、亞倫，並以色列全會眾便向利未人如此行。凡耶和華指著利未人所吩咐摩西的，以色列人就向他們這樣行。
And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
8:21 於是利未人潔淨自己，除了罪，洗了衣服；亞倫將他們當作搖祭奉到耶和華面前，又為他們贖罪，潔淨他們。
And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
8:22 然後利未人進去，在亞倫和他兒子面前，在會幕中辦事。耶和華指著利未人怎樣吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎樣向他們行了。
And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
8:23 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
8:24 「利未人是這樣：從二十五歲以外，他們要前來任職，辦會幕的事。
This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: to...: Heb. to war the warfare of, etc
8:25 到了五十歲要停工退任，不再辦事，
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof , and shall serve no more: cease...: Heb. return from the warfare of the service
8:26 只要在會幕裡，和他們的弟兄一同伺候，謹守所吩咐的，不再辦事了。至於所吩咐利未人的，你要這樣向他們行。」
But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
馬可福音 4: 21~41 Mark 4: 21~41
4:21 耶穌又對他們說：人拿燈來，豈是要放在斗底下，床底下，不放在燈臺上嗎？
And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? bushel: the word in the original signifieth a less measure
4:22 因為掩藏的事，沒有不顯出來的；隱瞞的事，沒有不露出來的。
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
4:23 有耳可聽的，就應當聽！
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
4:24 又說：你們所聽的要留心。你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們，並且要多給你們。
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
4:25 因為有的，還要給他；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪去。
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
4:26 又說：神的國如同人把種撒在地上。
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
4:27 黑夜睡覺，白日起來，這種就發芽漸長，那人卻不曉得如何這樣。
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
4:28 地生五穀是出於自然的：先發苗，後長穗，再後穗上結成飽滿的子粒；
For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
4:29 穀既熟了，就用鐮刀去割，因為收成的時候到了。
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. brought...: or, ripe
4:30 又說：神的國，我們可用甚麼比較呢？可用甚麼比喻表明呢？
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?4:31 好像一粒芥菜種，種在地裡的時候，雖比地上的百種都小，
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
4:32 但種上以後，就長起來，比各樣的菜都大，又長出大枝來，甚至天上的飛鳥可以宿在它的蔭下。
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
4:33 耶穌用許多這樣的比喻，照他們所能聽的，對他們講道。
And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it .
4:34 若不用比喻，就不對他們講；沒有人的時候，就把一切的道講給門徒聽。
But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
4:35 當那天晚上，耶穌對門徒說：我們渡到那邊去吧。
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
4:36 門徒離開眾人，耶穌仍在船上，他們就把他一同帶去；也有別的船和他同行。
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
4:37 忽然起了暴風，波浪打入船內，甚至船要滿了水。
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
4:38 耶穌在船尾上，枕著枕頭睡覺。門徒叫醒了他，說：夫子！我們喪命，你不顧嗎？
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
4:39 耶穌醒了，斥責風，向海說：住了吧！靜了吧！風就止住，大大的平靜了。
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
4:40 耶穌對他們說：為甚麼膽怯？你們還沒有信心麼？
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
4:41 他們就大大的懼怕，彼此說：這到底是誰，連風和海也聽從他了。
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
你是否曾經停下腳步，想想上帝在各類生物上所造的奇妙特色？約伯曾經這麼想過。駝鳥是他所描寫的生物中最有趣的一類。很明顯的，雖然牠缺乏敏銳的知覺，教養技巧相當怪異，牠的後代仍然活了下來

39:13 鴕鳥的翅膀歡然搧展，豈是顯慈愛的翎毛和羽毛嗎？
Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? wings and...: or, the feathers of the stork and ostrich
39:14 因牠把蛋留在地上，在塵土中使得溫暖；
Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
39:15 卻想不到被腳踹碎，或被野獸踐踏。
And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
39:16 牠忍心待雛，似乎不是自己的；雖然徒受勞苦，也不為雛懼怕；
She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

怎麼會這樣呢？為什麼笨拙的駝鳥，彷彿沒有能力照顧牠的後代，卻得以活下來？為什麼放屁甲蟲卻需要一套精密的化學反應，來保護牠繼續存活在地球表面上？這乃是因為上帝創造的能力無窮盡，詩人說：「他一吩咐便都造成」

148:5 願這些都讚美耶和華的名！因他一吩咐便都造成。
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
