53  ( 雅各書 )  為什麼又說 [ 人稱義是因著行為 , 不是單因著信 ] ?

答 :  這是不矛盾的 , 真正的信心必然要表現在行為上 , 因為信心若沒有行為就是死的 .

真正的信心是與行為並行 , 而且因著行為才得完全 .

雅各書  James  2 : 17 , 21 - 26

2:17 這樣，信心若沒有行為就是死的。
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. alone: Gr. by itself

2:21 我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕把他兒子以撒獻在壇上，豈不是因行為稱義嗎？
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
2:22 可見，信心是與他的行為並行，而且信心因著行為才得成全。
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? Seest...: or, Thou seest
 

2:23 這就應驗經上所說：「亞伯拉罕信　神，這就算為他的義。」他又得稱為　神的朋友。
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
 

2:24 這樣看來，人稱義是因著行為，不是單因著信。
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
2:25 妓女喇合接待使者，又放他們從別的路上出去，不也是一樣因行為稱義嗎？
Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
 

2:26 身體沒有靈魂是死的，信心沒有行為也是死的。
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. spirit: or, breath
