讀經 : 路加福音  luke  9 : 57 – 62

9:57 他們走路的時候，有一人對耶穌說：你無論往那裡去，我要跟從你。
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
 

9:58 耶穌說：狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，只是人子沒有枕頭的地方。
And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
 

9:59 又對一個人說：跟從我來！那人說：主，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
9:60 耶穌說：任憑死人埋葬他們的死人，你只管去傳揚　神國的道。
Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

9:61 又有一人說：主，我要跟從你，但容我先去辭別我家裡的人。
And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
 

9:62 耶穌說：手扶著犁向後看的，不配進　神的國。
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

手扶著犁向後看的，不配進上帝的國。—路加福音9章62節

全年讀經 : 歷代志下14-16章

每年一月，很多健康和健身中心都期待著人潮湧入。這些人通常會來幾次，就再也不來了。只要這些人付了錢，健身中心並不在意他們再也不來健身。但是健身教練 傑西．瓊斯（Jesse Jones）卻完全不同。

如果你簽了約卻再也不來，他就會終止你的會員資格。瓊斯說：「省省你的錢吧！幾個月後，當你認真看待健身這件事時，再來見我。我 的目標不是接下來三個月的薪水……而是讓人們為他們定下的目標而努力。」

在路加福音9章57-62節，我們看到有三個人對耶穌說要跟從祂，卻得到了看似嚴厲的回答：「人子沒有枕頭的地方」（58節），「任憑死人埋葬他們的死 人」（60節），「手扶著犁向後看的，不配進上帝的國」（62節）。針對他們每一個人，耶穌說明了身為祂的門徒所必須具備的犧牲和委身。

有一個我很欣賞的基督徒，他有為主獻身的精神，也有敏銳的洞察力。他曾說：「基督徒必須準備好，面對完全的承諾和徹底的改變。」上帝呼召我們並不是只要我們離開舒適的環境，而是要認真地面對這個呼召並跟從祂的腳步。DCM

主，我願獻上我所有，

我要全心全意來愛祢。

讓我按祢心意而生活，

時刻亦步亦趨跟隨祢。

要跟隨耶穌，必捨棄一切。
