我最大！

讀經 : 雅各書  James  4 : 1 – 10

4:1 你們中間的爭戰鬥毆是從那裡來的呢？不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的嗎？
From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? fightings: or, brawlings lusts: or, pleasures

4:2 你們貪戀，還是得不著；你們殺害嫉妒，又鬥毆爭戰，也不能得。你們得不著，是因為你們不求。
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

4:3 你們求也得不著，是因為你們妄求，要浪費在你們的宴樂中。
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. lusts: or, pleasures

4:4 你們這些淫亂的人（原文是淫婦）哪，豈不知與世俗為友就是與　神為敵嗎？所以凡想要與世俗為友的，就是與　神為敵了。
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

4:5 你們想經上所說是徒然的嗎？　神所賜、住在我們裡面的靈，是戀愛至於嫉妒嗎？
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? to envy: or, enviously?

4:6 但他賜更多的恩典，所以經上說：　神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

4:7 故此，你們要順服　神。務要抵擋魔鬼，魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

4:8 你們親近　神，　神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪，要潔淨你們的手！心懷二意的人哪，要清潔你們的心！
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

4:9 你們要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣，將喜笑變作悲哀，歡樂變作愁悶。
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

4:10 務要在主面前自卑，主就必叫你們升高。
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

就要脫去你們從前行為上的舊人，這舊人是因私慾的迷惑，漸漸變壞的。

以弗所書  Ephesians  4 : 21 - 24

4:21 如果你們聽過他的道，領了他的教，學了他的真理，
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

4:22 就要脫去你們從前行為上的舊人，這舊人是因私慾的迷惑漸漸變壞的；
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

4:23 又要將你們的心志改換一新，
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

4:24 並且穿上新人；這新人是照著　神的形像造的，有真理的仁義和聖潔。
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. true...: or, holiness of truth

有人曾經問我：「你人生最大的問題是什麼？」我回答：「我每天照鏡子時，都會看見我人生最大的問題。」我指的是潛伏在我心中的慾望：「我最大！」

雅各書4章1節說：「你們中間的爭戰鬥毆，是從哪裡來的呢？不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的嗎？」所謂的「私慾」指的是「利己」。

雅各書  James  1 : 12 – 15

1:12 忍受試探的人是有福的，因為他經過試驗以後，必得生命的冠冕；這是主應許給那些愛他之人的。
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

1:13 人被試探，不可說：「我是被　神試探」；因為　神不能被惡試探，他也不試探人。
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: evil: or, evils

1:14 但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

1:15 私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來；罪既長成，就生出死來。
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

雅各警告我們這種「我最大」的私慾，會破壞我們和上帝的關係（4章4節），並造成隔閡、爭吵和衝突 （1-2節）。

因此，聖經要我們丟棄「我最大」的想法。

我們該怎麼做呢？第一，「順服上帝」（4章7節）。我們必須把優先順序排列正確。上帝就是上帝，祂的旨意永遠排在 第一。第二，「親近上帝」（8節）。我們所有會導致犯罪的慾望，都能藉由親近上帝，而被潔淨。不可一心二用，不可既愛「惡」又愛「善」，唯要討上帝的喜 悅。第三，「務要在主面前自卑」（10節），然後，「主就必叫你們升高。」

切記，「我最大」的生活方式絕非成功之鑰，把上帝放在首位才是成功的祕訣！AL
